So the exact details of how this starts isn't quite clear, but it's something serious as you sit on the bay window seat with Riley and Maya. It's starting after you and Maya both climb in through the window to sit next to Riley on either side. The Brain Trust, as it were. The first topic is not the matter at hand but the explanation that the window is important to them. Where all the important discussions happen. "Do you ever talk about me here?"
The question panics Riley, that much is clear, especially as she none-too-hushedly asks Maya what to do, being told to start over and go another route. It's cute and makes you smile, but you still can't help but ask the question again. To which Riley freaks out to Maya yet again, telling her she gives bad advice. Mentally you can't quite help but agree. The topic then changes to the matter at hand. Something's wrong with Farkle. The exact details are a bit fuzzy right now, but that's because it's a first memory. You're sure it will come in time. But Maya then comments about how they need Farkle back, not being as good without him before a threat to never tell him she told them that.
That was when the first entrance of Riley's dad happens. Calling the three of you the brain trust and giving you a day to figure the answer out before coming to an adult. Then he leaves the three of you again, Maya saying that if they figure out the problem, you can take care of it. Immediately you're in shock that suggestion would even come about, arguing that it isn't the reaction of an intelligent person. That's when the door opens again, Mr. Matthews seeming to realize you were there for the first time and growling 'Get out' with a fist raised.
That's when you flee out the window and lose your shoe to your teacher.

What you don't see in those clips include the fact that you were managing to stay calm. It feels like some kind of miracle that you managed that. But then you were pinning the guy against the lockers by his wrists and you can feel him struggling to get free. You can tell, but he just can't manage with your being there. So there you are, blood boiling with a voice in the back of your head telling you to not fight. Be the bigger man and walk away from this. So that's when you tell him that if the two of you start throwing punches at each other "You'll be the one on the floor, and I'm gonna be the one that walks away."
You only vaguely register your friends and teacher are there, focused more on the matter at hand before, after deciding it's safest to, let go of the bully and step back, hands to your sides. When the other guy walked off, that is when you talk to Zay.
